Q: At what age do the symptoms of Schizophrenia appear?

A: Symptoms such as hallucinations and delusions usually start between ages 16 and 30, with symptoms rarely occurring after age 45 and during childhood.


Q: Are different genders more vulnerable to Schizophrenia?

A: No. Schizophrenia affects men and women equally. However, men tend to experience symptoms earlier than women.


Q: I have a family history of schizophrenia. Am I more vulnerable?

A: You're more likely to get schizophrenia if someone in your family has it. If it's a parent, brother, or sister, your chances go up by 10%. If both your parents have it, you have a 40% chance of getting it.
